A 48-year-old construction worker, Yusuf Ali, died after falling from the fourth floor of an under-construction building in Paschim Dhanthala, Fulbari, on Friday evening. He was a resident of Jummagachh under Sannyasikata Gram Panchayat in Rajganj block.
The incident occurred while he was working alongside his elder son at the site. According to local sources, Yusuf lost balance and fell from the upper floor while on duty. He sustained severe injuries and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital with help from locals.
Despite medical efforts, he was declared dead late at night during treatment. Yusuf Ali had been engaged in construction work for several years in the region. Following the incident, his body was sent for post-mortem, and local authorities have been informed.
